| The
first engine available for the Acura TL was a 2.5
liter 176 hp SOHC 20v 5 cylinder that was the same
as the one used in the Vigor. There was also a 3.2
liter 24v V6 previously used in the second generation
Acura Legend. With all this part sharing between
various models across the Acura and Honda lines,
there are still many used and new parts available
for older Acura TLs. The TL line is currently in
its third generation, with the majority of the changes
being cosmetic, along with the introduction of the
Type-S performance option available since 2002. |
