Alfa Romeo Montreal was a coupe produced from 1970
to 1977. The original 1600cc engine and chassis
were out of a Alfa Romeo Giulia, while the body
was an original design by Bertone. |

| The
first production model of the Montreal was much
different than the prototype introduced in 1967.
It was actually a much higher performance car, with
a 2593 cc V8 engine producing 200 hp and a 5-speed
manual transmission. The double wishbone suspension
with coil springs were also great features for drivers
who wanted greater handling. This was a true Italian
sports car, no doubt about it. The 1977 Alfa Romeo
Montreal - the final production model - remained
remarkably similar to the original model produced
seven years earlier. |
