Aston Martin V8 Vantage was introduced in 1977 and
was produced until 1989. With a top speed of 170
mph, it became known as Britain's Supercar. The
car was featured in the 1987 James Bond film The
Living Daylights. |

| Despite
being a large car, the V8 Vantage only had 2 seats.
Much of the size of the car was used to squeeze
in as many high performance parts as possible. Start
with a V8 engine with high performance camshafts
and carburettors, and throw in some other parts
not found in any car of its era. The American version
of the V8 Vantage was less powerful than its European
counterpart, but it retained the same model name.
Used Aston Martin V8 Vantages can still be found
for much lower prices than a new Aston Martin, and
parts can be found online (look at the links on
