has been in production since 2001. It was featured
in the James Bond film Die Another Day
starring Pierce Brosnan. The V12 engine in this
supercar produces 460 hp. |

| The
transmission on the Vanquish is semi-automatic because
it is a 6 speed with paddle shift. The fly-by-wire
throttle is top-of-the-line and one of my favorite
features on the Vanquish. Despite internet rumors,
the Vanquish V12 is not 2 Ford Duratec engines fused
together. Ford is Aston Martin's parent company,
and the Duratec and the Aston Martin V12 share some
design elements, but they are not the same. The
Aston Martin has been criticized for its cheap interior
materials, and some claim that it is not different
enough from the Aston
Martin DB9 to make it worth paying nearly $100,000
more. |
