| The
BMW 3 Series has been around since 1975. The first
model was the E21 and it came as the 316, 318, 320
and 320i with a four cylinder engine. The 3 series
has gone through many iterations since then, and
is still going strong today. |

| There
have been way too many versions of the 3 Series
for me to list here, but some of the more popular
ones include the 1985 BMW 325i that replaced the
323i. There have also been many different engine
types, including a six cylinder and a diesel engine
available in many years, although not always in
the United States. In 2005 the E90 3 Series was
introduced as a redesigned model. Some interesting
versions through the years that may become collectible
in the future include the 320Cd and 330Cd, both
diesel cars made available in 2003, and especially
the 2004 diesel convertible. |
