BMW 6-Series Luxury Sports Car Pictures
The original 6-Series was produced from 1977 to 1989. In 2004, the 6 Series was relaunched as a beautiful luxury sports coupe. It features some of the bolder styling seen in the modern BMW lineup, along with some excellent performance figures.

The American Cool
From Steve McQueen to James Dean to Shelby Mustangs, this is what being a cool American is all about
The modern 6-Series goes from 0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds, with a top speed of nearly 150 mph. The engine is a DOHC V8 pumping out 325 hp. It is a rear wheel drive car that weighs in at just over 3500 lbs. There are three transmission options on the new car, including a six speed manual, a six speed steptronic automatic, and a six speed sequential manual gearbox that had both a gearshift lever and shift paddles on the steering wheel. A 2+2 seat convertible model will be available from this line. For those interested in the older versions of the 6 series, such as the 633 with the V12 engine, check out the links on this page, especially the ones for used parts on the left side of this page.
