| The
Z4 and Z3 have practically the same front suspension,
but the rear suspension on the Z4 is much more advanced.
It is a multi-link suspension, while the Z3 used
a semi-trailing arm. Engine sizes on the Z4 include
a 2.2 L, 2.5 L, and 3.0 L. The largest engine is
a straight six producing over 230 horsepower and
can reach 60 mph in under 6 seconds. A coupe version
was introduced last year, and it makes its debut
in June 2006. Since it has only been around for
a few years, there are a limited number of Z4's
on the used car market. Try looking online, especially
ebay. Parts are also available (see left side of
this page). |
