STS is a rear wheel drive car based on the GM Sigma
platform. It does have an all wheel drive option.
The standard engine is a 3.6 L High-Feature LY7
V6 that produces 255 horsepower. The performance
option engine is a 4.6 L Northstar LH2 V8 that makes
320 horsepower. The base model is $40,995, while
the all wheel drive V8 performance package model
is $52,240. There is also an STS-V performance model
introduced as a concept in 2005 that will go into
production. It has a supercharged 4.4 L Northstar
V8 producing 469 hp, a 0 - 60 time under 5 seconds,
and a MSRP of $80,000. Since the STS has only been
around for a couple years, don't expect to find
too many on the used car market. Your best bet is
using eBay. |
