| One
of the distinctive features of the Apache was its
front end. The turn signals were located just below
the hood of the truck, well above the headlights
and bumper. The look could best be described as
eyebrows above low-set eyes. The models from 1959
and before did not have this look, they had headlights
on top and turn signals just above the chrome bumper.
These were actually a part of the 3100 line, which
was also known as the first series. I realize that
this can all be very confusing. If you are looking
to buy one, you might want to try looking to see
if there are any for sale on eBay, as its usually
a lot cheaper than those collector car catalogs.
You can find some parts there too, if you are looking
to restore or repair an Apache truck that you already
own. |
