| The
Cobalt is considerably more advanced than its predecessor.
It has independent front suspension with MacPherson
struts and a semi-independent torsion bar in the
rear. Engines include the 2.2 L Ecotec L61 4 cylinder
producing 145 horsepower, the 2.0 L Ecotec LSJ supercharged
I4 making 205 hp, and the 2.4 L Ecotec LE5 I4 making
171 hp. It is twins with the Pontiac Pursuit, which
is only sold in Canada. Overall fuel economy is
23 miles per gallon. It uses GM's FF Delta platform.
Very few are available on the used car market, but
there are some on eBay for considerably less than
MSRP and parts are also widely available there. |
