| The
Equinox was basically Chevrolet's replacement of
the Tracker as their smallest SUV offering. It uses
the GM Theta platform. The engine is a 3.4 L LNJ
V6 which is built in China. It comes as both a front
wheel drive and a 4 wheel drive. Since its introduction
in 2004, it has joined several other offerings by
GM that are very similar. It has a slightly longer
wheelbase than the Saturn VUE, but it is also similar
to the Pontiac Torrent and the 2007 Suzuki XL7.
Since it is a new vehicle, very few have hit the
used car market. The best place to find one is an
auction site that sells cars from all over the country,
such as eBay. Some original and custom parts can
also be found there. |
