1998 Chevrolet Prizm - Car Pictures
The Prizm was a compact car sold in the United States from 1998 until 2002. Before that time, from 1990 until 1997, it was sold under the Geo brand name.

The Prizm was sold as a 4 door sedan or a 5 door hatchback. It competed with the Ford Escort, Honda Civic, and Nissan Sentra. It shared many main parts with the Toyota Corolla and Toyota Sprinter. The Chevy models were powered by the 1ZZ-FE engine. The original Geo Prizm was produced as a replacement for the Chevrolet Nova, which was made from 1985 until 1988. Chevy and Geo both fall under parent company General Motors. If you are looking for a used Prizm, I would suggest looking on eBay, where you can usually find them priced anywhere from $500 - $2500, depending on year and condition. Parts can also be found there, and usually for a lot cheaper than your local auto parts store (make sure the seller states whether or not the part is new in box, new without box, or used, as this should affect how much you are willing to bid.)
