of the engines available for this SUV were the 4.2
L LL8 Vortec I6 and 5.3 L Vortec V8 on the EXT.
It is available in rear wheel drive or 4WD. The
main appeal of this SUV is that it has many traits
people would usually only expect from cars, such
as a tight turning radius, a smooth ride, and lots
of luxury items on the interior. Some versions of
this model inlcude the EXT - which holds 7 passengers
with 3 rows of seats, the SS - a high performance
model using the Corvette LS2 V8 engine and doing
the quarter mile in 14 seconds flat. In 2008 expect
to see this SUV move to the GMT361 platform with
a completely new design. If you are looking to buy
one, I suggest buying a used one using eBay, which
will literally save you thousands of dollars off
classified ad prices. Sometimes the year or condition
you are looking for is not available, but it never
hurts to keep checking. |
