| This
car started with two model options: the LX and the
LXi. They had a 2.4 I4 and a 2.5 L V6 engine, respectively.
Following the 1998 model year, only the LXi model
was offered. It came back in 2000 to replace the
Breeze. In 2001 the Chrysler Sebring sedan replaced
the Cirrus name. The 2001 - 2006 Chrysler Sebring
sedan is a continuation of the 1995 - 2000 Cirrus
and should not be confused with the Sebring coupe
that was made from 1995 until 2000. Standard features
and options on the Cirrus include a 4 speed automatic
transmission, tilt steering, anti-lock brakes, power
windows and door locks, and cruise control. There
was also a turbocharged version sold in Mexico with
a 2.4 L DOHC 4 cylinder engine with a four speed
AutoStick transmission. Many parts between the Cirrus
and its twins are interchangeable, as the only differences
were cosmetic (bumper, grill, etc) and standard
features. If you are looking for a used one, you
might be able to find one listed on eBay. You can
also sometimes find some decent deals on parts there.
