| The
Chrysler Royal was a rare classic car made by
Chrysler during the 1930's and 1940's. It can
be seen in many movies such as The Godfather
(as a taxi cab) and in Dick Tracy. |

| The
Royal was also seen in the movie Driving Miss
Daisy. The C18 version was a 4 door sedan. It
featured suicide doors in the rear and a 252
cubic inch straight six engine. The 119 inch
wheelbase made it about average size for its
time. The transmission was a 3 gear stick shift,
and a freewheel was optional. If you want more
information on this car, try searching eBay for
books and other memorabilia. If you are in the
market for one you might also find a listing
on eBay, if you are very lucky. Most of the time
when I check there are none listed, so you'll
want to hop on one if you see it. In general,
it is a good idea to buy a used car on the popular
auction site if you can save at least $1,000
off the normal market price, to make up for shipping
or picking up expenses. |
