The R/T version was sold from 1999 until 2003 and
featured all wheel drive. The 5.9 L V8 engine on
that model was also considerably bigger than the
4.7 L PowerTech V8 in the SLT and SLT Plus versions.
Sport and SXL were other option lines. The second
generation Durango first sold in 2004 has a fully-boxed
frame. It is larger than the first generation models.
In 2007, Chrysler will have its own model for this
platform named the Chrysler Aspen. The Dodge model
will also be significantly redesigned in an attempt
to revive declining sales. You can find plenty of
these SUVs in the used car marketplace, and parts
are also widely available from both dealerships and
