The engine on this car is a 3.4L V8. It could do
0-60 mph in 5.6 seconds, which is comparable to a
modern Volvo S60. That said, it does well in other
performance categories. It has a top speed of 171
mph. These numbers are also just for the TB and TS
models, the GTB/S and Spider were considerably better
performers, with a 0-60 of 5.3 seconds and 20 more
horsepower. These cars came in the 3 body styles:
the Berlinetta, Spider, and Targa. They were a coupe,
convertible, and targa top, respectively. Do not
confuse these cars with the Testarossa, which looked
similar but was part of an entirely different model
line. With over 8,000 built, these are more common
than many Ferraris, but that was the idea behind
this series of cars. You can find several of them
listed on eBay at any given time, usually for less
than you'd pay for a new Corvette.
