Ford Crestliner - classic 1950 car
The Crestliner was a short-lived model name for Ford during the 1950 model year. It was an attempt to compete with the 2 door hardtop sedans made by Chevrolet.

The sports sedan had two-tone paint, also an attempt to compete with Chevy. The flat folding middle seats in the wagon version of Fords from this year would not be seen again for 40 years, when it was reintroduced in minivans. Finding information on the Crestliner, even with the vast resources of the internet, can be very difficult. Since the car was made for such a short time, it's often necessary to reference similar cars, such as the 1949 and 1951 Ford sedan models. You can find all sorts of old Ford reference manuals and also parts on eBay. You might also be able to pick up a decent parts car on there.
