Although it was also sold as a 2 door coupe and 4 door wagon, most people remember these cars in their 4 door sedan form. If you were ever busted for dealing white powder in the 1980's (and who wasn't?), chances are you got a ride in the back seat of one of these.
Some of the features on this car included the AOD automatic transmission with overdrive, front disc brakes, power steering, and dual recliner front seats. Tilt steering, cruise control, power locks, aluminum wheels, cornering lights, and TripMinder computer were all options.
These cars can be found on the used car market. It's better to buy one from southern states, where they're less likely to have rust damage. As far as prices, they are about as low as they will ever be. I would expect the highly optioned models to become at least slightly collectible within the next 10 years. You can find these cars listed on eBay, among other sites.
