The Skyliner had a really complex design that enabled the roof to fold into the rear decklid. Similar designs were used much later on cars from Mitsubishi and more famously the Mercedes Benz SLK cars.

These full size automobiles are highly collectible. They typically sell for $50,000 or more, with rare optioned models in mint condition going for much more. I expect this to be one of those cars that skyrockets in price over the next 20 to 30 years. I base this on the fact that it had such a stunning design and the technology put in it was way ahead of its time. This is a great car for a restoration project, albeit not a cheap one.

You can sometimes find these cars listed on eBay. Look for one that is restored or restorable, as certain parts are going to be very hard to find if not already there. You can keep an eye out on eBay for these parts, but you'll really have to check on it regularly or you'll miss them.
