The Azera is a full size sedan designed to look like it's in the same class as a Mercedes Benz, even though it sells for tens of thousands of dollars less.

With a V6 Lamda engine and four wheel independent suspension, the Azera competes quite well with others in its price range. It sells for $25,000 for the base model, $27,500 for the Limited, and $30,000 for the ultimate package.

With a 0-60mph time of 6 seconds flat, the Azera has quite a bit of pep for a Hyundai. Although 19 miles per gallon city is lower than we'd expect for a foreign sedan, 28 miles per gallon highway is quite good for a car of this size with this kind of performance.

The Azera was named Best New Family Car by the Canadian Car of the Year awards in 2006.

These cars are too new to be showing up in quantity on the used car market, but you can find them if you look hard enough in the right places. There are usually some listings on eBay, along with listings for parts -- new, used, and custom.
