Despite being cheaper than most vehicles in the crossover SUV niche, the Tucson offers some of the best safety features in its class. Dual stage front airbags are standard, as are side torso airbags and side curtain airbags for both front and back passengers.
There has been some confusion regarding trim levels on this vehicle. Originally, the trims were GL and GLS, with the GLS being the higher package. In 2007, those trims were changed to GLS and SE, with the SE being the upper trim.
These cars are still rare on the used car market, as they are fairly new. You can probably find some off lease if you look hard enough. Some dealers dump off lease stock on eBay to get them off the lot and make room for new cars. These used cars are usually sold at a huge discount. Look for them.
