The Veracruz will only be Hyundai's largest SUV for a short time. In 2009, the Hyundai Portico will make its debut. For some reason Hyundai's solution to the fuel price surge is bigger vehicles.

Perhaps in an attempt to move away from the negative connotations that go along with the Hyundai name, a new brand name may be in the works, similar to the Acura, Lexus, and Infiniti. It has been suggested that the Veracruz and Portico might be included under that brand in the future.

These vehicles are too new to be on the used car market. They'll be showing up off lease within a year or two. If you already have a new one, there are some places you should look for custom parts if you feel like modding it or adding some nicer rims. I usually look at the selection on eBay first, because the prices are so much lower than the auto parts stores. Also look at auto parts sites online, which often are cheaper than their brick and mortar counterparts.
