There were 3 generations of this car. The first generation was dubbed the G50 and was sold from 1990 through 1996. The second generation Y33 was sold from 1997 through 2001. The final generation F50 was sold from 2002 through 2006.

The engines got bigger with each successive generation, with the final Q45 sold with a big 4.5L V8 making 340 horsepower. The transmission on that car was a 5 speed automatic, a clear indication that this vehicle was intended for people who like to move fast.

The final generation Q45 had a base price of $56,200. That base car comes loaded with many options that would be extra on other models, even in luxury models. Some of them include leather interior, power sunroof, Bose speakers, rain detecting windshield wipers, and 8 way power front seats.
