The VehiCROSS was sold with a 3.5L V6 engine in the United States. It made 215 horsepower, which was more powerful than most engines in the Isuzu lineup. The Torque on Demand 4 wheel drive was produced by BorgWarner.
If you want to put this thing in a market, call it a crossover SUV. It's not the same as the Crossfire or other brands in this category, but it fits better in here than anywhere else.
Unlike many of the newer luxury crossover SUVs, the VehiCROSS was a surefire off-road vehicle. Very few consumer SUVs have the off-roading capability as this one.
Because of its unique styling, the VehiCROSS caused quite a stir among the automotive press. Motor Trend gave it a Ten Best award for unique styling.
These are not very common on the used car market, but they are out there. I suggest checking on eBay, there's always someone selling one of everything on there at any given time.
