These cars are only sold with 4 doors, in either sedan or estate wagon body types. They can be bought with front wheel drive standard or optional four wheel drive.
Engines have included V6 engines ranging from 2.1L to 3.0L and I4 Diesel engines in some markets. All of these have been made with automatic transmission, which has become a trend for Jaguar in the past few decades.
The top engine makes 227 horsepower, with the four wheel drive sending a little over half of the power to the rear wheels.
The Estate or Sportwagon (as it is known in the United States) was introduced in 2004. In some markets, it's sold with the diesel engine, but not in the US, which cares too much about smog to care about gasoline prices.
These cars are out there on the used car market at reasonable prices. I've seen some sell for about 1/3 of their retail price on places like eBay.
