Cheap jeep could cost only RM2,200!
|
A 70 year old man in India named Indraprakash Bhargav claims to have created a little 2+2 jeep (in the style of the recently launched Nissan KIX?) that costs only Rs 30,000 to buy, can go 40km on a liter of petrol and reach a top speed of 50km/h. Rs30,000 is only about RM2,200 and is a decent price to pay for something that can sit 2 adults and 2 children. He claims the material costs are only about Rs15,000 to Rs20,000 (RM1,100 to RM1,470). He also says he is working on an electric version o

Normally at the beginning of a new month, I highlight the best and worst brands with regards to monthly sales. This time around, I can’t do that. Why, you ask? Well, every single automaker saw sales tank. That’s right, every one of them. Worst losers Hummer: -54% Volvo: -51% Porsche: -44% Jeep: -42% Best losers? My Ford Flex Romance: The Fling Ends
|
Alas, I received the dreaded phone call today. The fleet specialists are arriving at my house tomorrow morning to pick up the Ford Flex I’ve been test driving for a week. It’s been a whirlwind romance. I hadn’t even heard of the Ford Flex just over a month ago but it was love at first sight. Sure, it’s looks are what caught my attention at first, but the Flex also proved to make me feel safe and secure while bringing out the exciting and rebellious side of me at the same time. I learned so

Spicoli: Couch Style
|
So, the little Bean *nearly* broke his nose a couple of weekends ago in a couch surfing attempt that went horribly awry. I pretty much knew it was going to end badly when I saw him in the laundry basket on the couch, teetering dangerously close to the edge and looking VERY excited about that, but it was one of those slo-mo moments where you SHOULD be moving like lightning but seem to be trapped in a world of invisible but very thick molasses while the BAD THING happens JUST outside of your rea

In what could be a glimpse of the automotive industry’s future, electric cars grabbed the limelight at the ongoing ‘Mondial de l’ Automobile’ (Paris Motor Show) 2008 with several automakers unveiling a slew of new hybrid electric models. Most of the models, such as Renault SA’s Z.E. Concept, are still prototypes and could be several years away from production. Happy-Faced Cars

...are not as popular as angry-faced cars. No kidding: there's research to back that up. Follow the link; the story provides a good example of each kind. Here's what I currently drive. I think it has a kind of a blank look. Not friendly. Not unfriendly. Now here's what I used to drive. I can't decide if it also has a blank look or if it has a kind of jolly, outdoorsy demeanor. Kind of a "Hey, guys, why don't you pack a cooler of cold drinks and sandwiches and let's head up to the mountains fo

Dave Matthews...

ugh. Okay. As a general rule I hate jam bands and/or anything of that nature that's too laid back/free form blah blah blah. A while back I was watching House and the song Some Devil (from his solo effort I believe) came on. Anyway, I developed a giant hard-on for the song, and thought perhaps I'd misjudged him (also has a lot to do with the area where I live and work, every DMB fan is a Natural Light swilling, jeep driving, popped collar douchebag). In a nutshell what I'm asking is if I wa

Top Gear reviews ZR1, hard to get past Corvette looks By BlueFox at 6 October, 2008, 9:34 pm ,Top Gear reviews ZR1, hard to get past Corvette looks Let’s not beat around any shrubbery with this: Top Gear magazine has reviewed the Corvette ZR1, and the quotes you need to know are, “The dynamics are better than an Aston DBS…,” and “…[M]ake no mistake. What we have here is one of the truly great supercars.” Of course, there are caveats: it looks like a Corvette, the interior doesn’t match
