There are two trim lines for this minivan in the United States: the base LX and the higher end EX. Some luxury options include leather interior and power sunroof.
The first generation GQ of this van lasted from 1999 until 2005. It came with a 3.5 liter V6 engine and a 5 speed automatic transmission. It lacked power options available in other minivans of that time, and it got poorer fuel economy.
The second generation Sedona VQ has been sold since 2006. Power doors and windows are now available, along with a fold flat seat. This minivan also is sold as a short wheelbase 7 seater or a long wheelbase 11 seater. The longer wheelbase will be the only model sold in the United States now, with the short wheelbase model being discontinued in 2006.
The American version of this minivan was awarded a 5 star crash rating, the highest available.
These minivans are much cheaper than the competition on the used market. Parts also tended to be fairly cheap. You can find them listed at very low prices on eBay.
