There were 2 generations of this car. The first generation, which lasted from 1990 until 1998, had a 5.7 liter V12 engine. The 1999 through 2001 models
got a bigger 6.0 liter V12 engine.
There were two different body types of this car: the 2 door coupe and the 2 door roadster. Additionally, there were many different model variations: SV, VT, VT Roadster, VT Roadster R, SE30, SE30 Jota, SVR, GT, GTR, and VT 6.0.
The original Diablo could reach speeds of 202 miles per hour. It was a mid-mounted engine, rear wheel drive vehicle.
One of the rarest models is the GTR, which can reach speeds in excess of 210 miles per hour. Only 40 of these were produced.
With over 2,000 of these cars produced, it is more common than any other Lamborghini. Still, they are quite popular and very expensive. Expect to pay six figures for one at a collector car auction or on eBay. |
