There has only been one engine option for this truck so far: the 5.4 liter Triton V8. It makes 300 horsepower.
The only transmission option so far has been the 4 speed automatic. I think that's a mistake. All trucks should come with a manual transmission options. Some guys just feel less... manly driving a truck with automatic transmission. You might as well put training wheels on it.
All of these trucks have been sold with 4 door cabs. That eliminates all the confusion that other trucks have with weird options like extended cabs and super cabs. What the heck is that anyway?
These trucks come with rear wheel drive standard, but all wheel drive is still optional like with nearly all new Lincolns.
The Mark LT has a retail price of $43,495, and at that price it's sold better than the Cadillac EXT, its main competitor. The Caddy has been gaining on it, though, and it may overtake it by next year.
These will be showing up on the used truck market soon enough. Keep your eye out on eBay for the first trucks that slip through their wealthy, one-new-truck-each-year owner's hands. Also find some cool custom parts on eBay.
