2007 Lincoln MKX
The MKX is a crossover SUV introduced by Ford luxury brand Lincoln for the 2007 model year. It replaces the Aviator in the Lincoln lineup, and is smaller than the Navigator. It's built in Canada, the first Lincoln to be made in our friendly neighbor to the north since 1936.

The MKX is sold with a Duratec V6 engine standard. No other engines have been offered as options as of yet, but you can be sure there will likely be some options here in the future.

The transmission on this SUV is a 6F 6 speed automatic transmission.

All of these vehicles will be sold with either front wheel drive or all wheel drive. With unibody construction, it will drive much more like a car than the Aviator, which was a pure body on frame SUV and drove more like a truck.

As a luxury SUV, this vehicle competes with the Volkswagen Touareg, Cadillac SRX, and Lexus RX, among others. As you can see, car makers are very fond of using the "X" to show people that it's a "cross"over vehicle. And you thought they weren't very clever.

Honda has sued Ford over the name of this vehicle, claiming that it's too similar to the Acura MDX name. Both are luxury crossover SUVs. Ford did settle that lawsuit out of court, and continues to use the name.

These cars are not going to be out on the used market for a while, but just keep waiting and they'll get there. If dealers have surplus, you can be sure some will list them on eBay, so watch for that. You might also find some aftermarket parts on eBay.
