The Zephyr is a 4 door sedan with either front wheel drive or four wheel drive. It's V6 engine is powerful for its size, making 221 horsepower. The six speed automatic transmission is an indication of the car's luxury roots.
The Zephyr shares some components with several other cars in the Ford family, including the Ford Edge, Ford Fusion, Mazda6, and Mercury Milan.
The Zephyr is now discontinued, but in name only. The car lives on as the Lincoln MKZ. All Lincolns will now use the new naming system which uses alphanumeric abbreviations instead of names that people can actually remember. These is part of the Ford family's attempt to alienate all of their customers and then complain in 10 years about those foreign car makers stealing all of their business as they beg politicians for a bailout or at least tariffs on the foreign companies.
These cars are too new to be showing up on the used car market, but they'll be there soon enough as Lincoln customers switch to Lexus and Acura.
