Maserati Shamal
The Shamal is a 2+2 two door coupe sold by Maserati from 1992 until 1995. It was designed by the same man who designed the Lamborghini Countach, Marcello Gandini. Although more compact than the Italian supercars, this car did feature near-supercar performance.

The Shamal featured a 3.2 liter V8 engine with two IHI turbochargers. It made 325 horsepower. The transmission paired with this beast was a Getrag 6 speed manual.

One cool feature of this car was the electronic active suspension control system. It could make adjustments on each wheel according to road conditions and based on the levels set by the driver.

The performance numbers on this car were fantastic. It could go 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds and had a top speed of 168 miles per hour.

Some of the luxury features in this car included leather seats, temperature control, and a gear level finished in elm.

Only 369 of these cars were made during its 3 year production run. They are obviously not very common today, and your chances of finding one in the general used car market are slim to none. Try looking at classic car auction listings, or doing a search for one on eBay.
