The first generation Cutlass Supreme lasted for just two years. The body styles in 1966 and 1967 included the 2 door coupe, 4 door sedan, and 2 door convertible. These were A body cars with rear wheel drive, of course.
The second generation lasted from 1968 to 1972. With a shorter wheelbase and a Rocket V8, these were true muscle cars. They were based on the GM A body platform. The performance SX version included a larger 455 cubic inch V8.
The third generation was sold from 1973 to 1977. The convertible option was gone, leaving only the coupe and sedan. These cars were boxier and uglier than the earlier Cutlass Supremes.
The fourth generation Cutlass Supreme was sold from 1978 to 1988. Although a downsized model from the previous, there were still some performance options. The 442 was still available, as was the limited edition Hurst/Olds. The base engine was a V6 on the standard models.
The final generation of the Cutlass Supreme was sold from 1988 to 1997. It was a midsize car sold as a convertible, coupe, or sedan. The engine options were now a variety of V6's or an I4.
There are plenty of newer Cutlass Supremes on the market, but not so many of the classic from the 1960's. No matter which models you are looking for, you can probably find a few of them listed on eBay, along with parts.
