The Firenza came in many different trim levels. They included the LX, S, SX, GT, LC, LX Brougham, Cruiser, Brougham Cruiser, and the LX Cruiser. The models with Cruiser in their trim name were station wagons, while the rest were 2 or 4 door sedans or a 3 door hatchback.
The top performance model Firenza was the GT. It had a V6 engine making 125 horsepower at its peak in 1987.
There were a suprising number of luxury options on the Firenza. Along with the standards like air conditioning and tilt steering, there were also options for leather interior, power moonroof or sunroof, and alloy wheels.
These cars were replaced by the Cutlass Calais in 1988.
There are still some Firenzas floating around out there on the used car market. If you would like to buy a used Oldsmobile Firenza the best place to look is on eBay auctions. There are also lots of parts on there, and if you've owned a Firenza since it was new I'm sure you've had to look for parts before. A lot of them are interchangeable with the similar cars from GM.
