The Silver Spirit was sold as either a 2 or 4 door saloon car. In any form this was a large car, but there was also a long wheelbase version of this car.
Aside from the original Silver Spirit, there were also several generations that were given the names Mark II, Mark III, Mark IV, and Flying Spur.
One innovation that Rolls Royce was proud of during this period was the adjusting dampers found on all four wheels, which helped keep the car level.
There were about 11,000 Silver Spirits sold during the production of the car, making it one of the more common Rolls Royces that you'll find on the road today. You can find some pretty good deals on Rolls Royces from a variety of places, including eBay. That's right, eBay has lots of auctions for Rolls Royces, including the Silver Spirit.
