Tuesday Heads Up
|
Tuesday I finally have an appointment with an orthopedist to find out about my ankle. That’s my right ankle… as in the one I drive with. Yes, I have an automatic transmission in my Snaabbin’ Saab. I have just gotten far too lazy to keep pumping a clutch. (Although I will make exceptions for sleek, sexy sports cars any day! You have to have a stick shift in one of those babies or else it ruins the whole experience.) Several weeks ago, my doctor sent me for an MRI, thinking I had a tendon prob

サンディゴ滞在もあっという間に終わりました。 サンディゴＳＡＮからロサンゼルスＬＡＸ経由で成田ＮＲＴに行きますが ここで大失敗！ ＬＡＸ行はＡＡの子会社アメリカン・イーグルの運航で ＳＡＮのターミナルはコミュッター用の別ターミナルなのでした。 教えてもらったレッドバス（車体は白でしたが）で移動、 時間にゆとりがあるので問題ありませんでしたが、初めての空港はやはり要注意ですね。 ＵＡとＡＡのコミュッター機がＬＡＸに頻繁に飛んでいます、 自分の搭乗機だんだん小さくなってついにＳＡＡＢになりました。 まぁ数時間後には７７７搭乗なのですが。 これで ＳＡＮからＬＡＸ ＡＡ３０４６ １０９マイル ＬＡＸからＮＲＴ ＡＡ１６９ ５４３８マイル 合計で５５４７マイル、累計で４５０５８ クラブマイル、 ゴールド維持６００００マイルまで残り１４９４２マイルになりました。 今月末には香港往復でＣＸ搭乗しますが、そのあとどこに行くか帰りの 機内食を食べながら考えることに。

There’ll be two great festival events for Saab nuts to attend in Europe next year. One is the Saab Festival in Trollhattan. That festival is held every second year and dates for 2009 are yet to be finalised. The other is IntSaab, which is held every year in a different country. In 2008 at Latvia’s turn, and in 2009 the Dutch will be hosting Saab Clubs from around Europe and Saab nuts from around the world in what’s sure to be an epic event.
