The Scion tC is only sold as a 2 door hatchback. It does not look like a hatchback, so most people assume it's a 2 door coupe. The engine used in the tC is an I4 that makes 161 horsepower, not a bad figure considering the low retail prices of this car.

The transmission options on the tC include a 4 speed automatic and a 5 speed manual.

Standard features on the Scion tC include air conditioning, cruise control, Pioneer radio/CD stereo system, panoramic moonroof/sunroof, halogen headlights, power doors and windows, and remote keyless entry, among many others.

The Release Series is a special edition of the tC. They include the RS 1.0, RS 2.0, and RS 3.0. They were sold with one color for each release and were limited to about 2500 models made.

These cars are showing up in small quantities on the used car market. I just saw a couple listed on eBay, where they usually sell for less than KBB and less than my local used car market, so there are some very good buys out there if you know where to look.
