Ford’s F150 truck was delayed this summer in order fo dealers to sell the remainder of the 2008 inventory. Volvo 7700 - the Hybrid Bus concept

Volvo has come out with a Hybrid bus called the Volvo 7700. It is an eco-friendly bus which promises to reduce fuel consumption by 30%. Besides reducing oil consumption, it also reduces the discharge of particles and nitrous oxides by 40-50% compared to the diesel bus. “With the Volvo I-Sam hybrid system, the bus can by powered by “an electric motor which is charged by the breaking system or the diesel engine which can be used separately or simultaneously.” More pictures after the break.
